Broken District turns limited visibility into constant pressure. Walls, debris and damaged buildings split the arena into short segments, so the opponent you see is rarely the only threat nearby. Success comes from controlling how many directions can reach you, finishing fights efficiently and changing position before the sound draws another player.
Use cover as a filter
Stand where a wall or solid object removes at least one approach from view. This lets you scan the remaining lane with purpose instead of reacting to the entire arena. Avoid sitting directly against a corner; a little distance gives you a wider view and makes it easier to move backward if a grenade lands nearby.
When you cross between pieces of cover, decide where the movement ends before you start it. Sprinting without a destination produces long exposures and noisy corrections. A short move from one protected angle to the next is easier to stop, aim from and repeat.
Win the first second
Most Broken District fights begin at short or medium distance. Keep your crosshair near the height and edge where a target is likely to appear. That preparation matters more than swinging the camera after contact. Burst when the lane opens, use automatic fire only when the distance supports it, and reset behind cover if the first shots miss.
Free-for-All rhythm
Free-for-All removes the safety of a stable frontline. Gunfire tells every nearby operator where to look, so staying in the same pocket after a kill is risky. Move to an adjacent angle, listen for footsteps and approach the next lane from a different height or side whenever possible.
Do not chase every damaged target through rubble. A retreat may pull you into another player's crosshair. Protect your health, hold the exit briefly and let the opponent decide whether to reappear. This patience is especially valuable when multiple fights overlap.
Quick deployment checklist
- Use solid cover to remove one or more approaches from every fight.
- Place the crosshair before exposing yourself around a corner.
- Move after firing so nearby opponents cannot pre-aim your last position.
- Reload in protected space, not while crossing a lane.
- Abandon a chase when it opens too many new angles.
