No. X0STRIKE runs directly in a modern desktop browser. The match assets load when they are needed.
Is an account required to look around?
The map briefing is public. An X0-ID is requested when you enter the game so your operator and progress can be kept together.
Which controls are supported?
Keyboard and mouse are the primary controls. A desktop browser is recommended for the intended competitive experience.
Can I play with a squad?
Yes. The game includes rooms, ready states and party-oriented team play, including four-operator squads in Battle Royale.
